I bought all the FF series untill X-2 now, don’t have a PS(2) but ive been playing them on emulator with DVD drive, the graphics were a little…eeh less but the gameplay remained good :p
The only problem: at that time, my first FF i bought was in France, so a french version. That wasn’t really a problem to me, my french is just fine, but I rather play my games in English…
A few years later now, got the discs out again, but still wanting to play FF7 in english once.
Ive replayed the others, now its FF7s turn, so i opened my P2P program and downloaded e warez version. Now, before you start flaming, dont tell me to buy one, cuz its useless as i already bought one and i cant wait weeks for one to arrive here, im not that patient :p
Maybe known because of some (other O:] ) 1-post wonders here, i got the one with the readme that says this:
1. Uncompress the whole stuff into to your ROOT directory.
2. Add ff7.reg to the registry (double click/yes).
3. Change the label of your drive to "ff7disc1", "ff7disc2" or "ff7disc3", whichever disc you’re playing on.
4. Run Ff7config.exe and configure. (adding ff7.reg again resets these settings)
5. Run Ff7.exe and enjoy the greatest game ever made!
Ive scanned the first few pages here and didnt encouter a sort of this thing with a decent solution, but my problem is that he asks for a disc to be inserted, even when i rename my drive…
