More X’s

Would you guys want this sequal to continue on with even more title like X-3, X-4, X-5 etc. or would that just be gay.

I found the world of Spira a bit too constricting. In concept Spira, and all that happens in it, are pretty good. But, I think that Final Fantasy is a series where sequels are not meant to be.

I whole heartedly agree. I feel that they have managed to squeeze as much as they can out of poor Spira. There is nothing else left. HAHA What would they do?

ofcourse, you could make an other sequel. but that would just be to mutch. most people didn’t like ffx-2, so if you made x-3, no one would buy it.
and yeah, it would be fun watching how spira would be reconstructed, but it wouldn’t be necessairy to make an other game about it. and it makes it more fun if some parts are unsolved, so you can make your own theories.

Bah, i would buy it also i want to know more about the fate and the guado and the farplane. X-3 should start with Yuna wakes up for her horrible nightmare (X-2) so X-3 will be almost like X, but it have to be a logical explanation for her dream etc etc…

Would be cool to see Seymour comes back somehow … The X-3 don’t necessarily have to be in Spira, it could be a about Yuna and her friends leaves Spira or something…

Final Fantasy X was good, Final Fantasy X-2 was better. However, I think that’s enough. It’s wrapped up now. I really don’t think they should do anymore.

Well I certainly DON’T enjoy IT that MUCH. FFX way better, an overall majority!

I have to admit, in a very low breath, that I liked this game. It had its qualities. I will NOT be playing it again (I played through it 4 times to get the perfect ending), however, I did enjoy several moments.

That being said, let’s point out the inconsistencies. These are a few of my favorites – please feel free to add your own observations.

1. The incestuous love that Brother feels for Yuna.

2. Summoners can no longer comunicate with the fayth and summon Aeons, but Shuyinn can?

3. The Chapu in Wakka’s memories looks nothing like Tidus, although both Wakka and Lulu made much ado over the similarities in FFX.

4. You expect us to believe that, in a mere 2 years, the use of Chocobos on the Mi’ihen Highroad stopped COMPLETELY?!

5. What happened to the Monster Rancher and all of his monsters?

6. Weren’t Yuna and Rikku with Tidus when he visited the Cactaur Nation in FFX? Why do they act like they have no knowledge of it in X-2?

7. (This isn’t really an inconsistency with FFX as much as it is an inconsistency with itself.) If you take the actions to save the Guado, why is there still a guard blocking the Farplane View in Guadosalom?

That’s about all I can think of at the moment… anyone else got any?

Okay, let’s not get too off-topic. You can say which you do or don’t like better, but let’s not start going into the reasoning. This is a "do you want more" thread, not for a detailed discussion of why we do or don’t like X / X-2.

That’s because of the ending in X. Remember, all the aeons and the fayth had disappeared because Sin was defeated. Shuyin was only able to communicate with the aeons because of his pyreflies things and the aeons’ fayth tried to stop his evil plan.

That’s because Cactuar Nation was just an extra in X, but not in X-2.

Because if Yuna and the party were to go at the farplane at the wrong time(not the ending… or so), X-2 would have been mixed up.

Anyway, I dont think they need to make X-3, the story is sorta over, and I lost interest in Spira a while ago. Hell it ended in FFX, I was content with that, Why they made X-2 is beyond me. An X-3 would be overboard.

Yeah thats fair enough, but there are quite a few things i would like to know about, like what happened with Yuna and Tidus after they meet, what about Lulu and Wakka’s kid.

I would like to think they go back to where they made out in FFX (forgot the name of the place) and finish what they started in the water…or perhaps they already did, I mean the fmv faded while they were kissing in the water… who knows what happened!? HAHA

what about Lulu and Wakka’s kid.

I like to think the kid drowns while playing blitzball.

LOL! That is FFX-3 for me.

I personally like being able to explore an entirely new planet. No more X’s please :S

Final Fantasy X is one of my favorite games, and one of the best I’ve ever played. Final Fantasy X-2 disappointed me. I think I said this a while ago, but if a FFX-3 was ever made, it should take place before the events of FFX. Maybe it would revolve around the story of Jecht, Auron, and Lord Braska as they venture on their quest to defeat Sin?

Anyway, the Jecht, Auron and Braska story does sound like something of a cool idea, but I still think it would be better to have Square-Enix’s resources devoted to something other than an another FFX sequel.

To me thats a good thing. Otherwise the story just wouldnt feel complete. and he comes back in 2/3 of the endings anyway and the normal one just sucks.

Ahem. Some people seem to be having some real trouble staying on topic here. This thread is about whether you’re interested in another FFX, not about whether you do or don’t like Tidus and why not. If people keep going off like this, I’m gonna have to clsoe this.
