Living in Spira - where and how?

I know there was a thread like this before, but it was back in 2003, and as I understand it, it is not allowed to post on such old threads in this forum. So I hope it’s ok to restart a topic that has not been active for two years.

If you were to live in Spira (for FF-X, not X-2), where would you live, and what would you do?

I would love to live in either Besaid or Kilika, probably the latter one. I’d love to live – like someone else mentioned here – so close to the sea and so near a forest. I would probably be a priest of Yevon, living in the Kilika Temple. Or maybe just a simple fisher, sitting in the huts near the sea, mending my fishing net.

I wouldnt live in an urban area, even though the places arnt tooo busy.
Really fond of Zanarkand. A nice place all in all. And then theres Besaid, damn they made that place into such a goddamn paradise. Again not a very busy place……. Then that prat Rin opens a damn resort there and all the tourists flood in and…. bleh.. time to move to…to.. hmmm, the world aint to big really.

I would live in kilika I do believe that’s the name of the place I’m thinking of. The place where yuna does the sending.
It’s a very relaxing place, so I guess I would relax alot, and I would like to own a shop.

Interesting question. I’d probably stay in Besaid and the Moonflow and have my own resthouses built there, in the Mi’ihen Highroad as a Chocobo guide or in Luca as a blitzball trainee.

Zanarkand is a cool place but i don’t like places without greenery…

I’d probably live in a small house someplace that the game doesn’t mention.

I’d make my living by stealing from random fiends and selling whatever I got from them, or making clothes.
