For those of you who own this collection……are the slowdowns really that bad and annoying?? Should I wait for FFIV for the gba or should I play it on the PS first?? Are the slowdowns in FFIV the same as the ones in FFVI for PS?? What do you guys think? I’m thinking about getting this today….I just wanna know if it’s worth it.

If you haven’t played a game called Chrono Trigger, you should buy FF Chronicles for that game alone! It’s one of the best 16-bit RPGs, along with FFVI and Lufia 2. It’s included in FF Chronicles along with a dozen new FMV sequences and a very good conversion.

As for FFIV, it might have slightly longer loading times but it has several new FMV sequences to (sort-of) make up for it… and besides, you should still get FF Chronicles regardless since it’s got Chrono Trigger in it.
