HI, the new PS@ "slim" version does not come with a HDD at all, it is said that this may be a problem with FFXI due to storage…if so how much is thiss game requiring???

cant it be solve with a bad ass memory card?

No way , If you can fit 6gb of game files onto a 8mb memory card then you must be jesus.

The slimline ps2 has no way of inserting an internal HDD official or not.

there is a inexpensive way to setup a HDD however have a look on Ebay for Ps2 HDD packs, There should be some with a boot disc to allow you to use a firewire or USB external Hard disc.

I have never done it as I own FFXI on pc but apparently you have solutions!

Unlike other PS2 games, FFXI is ran directly from the hard drive, there is no disc access at all except for installing.
