double standard? yes/no?

ok i read this message so i send a /tell to a sack holder in ls i ask him why this ls message is there

i have 2 ls at time and thats an ls message that affects me cause what he means by hoppers is he doesnt want someone to have any other ls but his

so in convo with sack holder i ask this

the leader has 2 ls’s him doing thats is that not a double standard?

about umm 2 sec later i get booted from ls <>

so my question to forum is

how can a leader have 2 ls’s and tell other people not too when we have a 2nd ls for about same as him?

he has 2nd ls for hnm gods dyanmisis blah…

reason i had 2nd ls was cause theres wouldnt take the time to get me any quest items i needed help with…

so double standard for him to let 70+ have 2nd ls or not i like any opinions anyone has on the subject (when i asked leader himself he said that it was ok if the people were 70+.. but not if they were lower…)

Who cares, there are thousands of LS’s you can join. Fuck him for being such an elitist and move on.

The leader of an LS can do anything he/she wants, even if that action happens to be asshat-ish. It’s their Linkshell afterall. Just stick with your second LS or joing a new one like Odin suggested. It’s really not a big deal.

Though I am in the HNM/SKY stuff myself. Having completed everything in the game, I have over 10 LSes, one’s for dyanmis, sky, sea, limbus, and even job specific ones. LS hopping is usually meant as one who jumps from LS to LS if can’t get in another. Some rules like no 2 HNM/Sky shells is a thing. If anyone has two and both of the shells don’t know that…or even 1, the person will get kicked usually.

Some people are just ignorant of their own childish behavior. I was helping a group of people get coffer key’s in garlaige citadel and after everyone (3 people) got their keys and chests we were leaving when the WAR got aggro and got himself, the PLD, and me killed. Right as I was about to offer to home point and come and raise them they kick me from the party and leave me there for dead, not even bothering to answer my /tells. This is a good example of people being absolute assholes in FFXI, you help a bunch of newbies out and they cut you off once they get what you need. Moral of the story: Just ignore them and let them be miserable by themselves.

ls’s are a dime a dozen, don’t even let it bother you. Everyone has multiple ls’s in this game because you need to have multiple ls’s in this game. One for god/hnm one for dynamis and one for social typically, if not more.. Thats just a power and an ego trip right there.. Called arrogance… Me personally, anytime a ls tries to "tell" me what to do and doesnt try to talk to me.. I just drop them, their loss for being morons..Believe me you won’t be the first to leave their shell for being elitests, alot more will follow suit and the ls will die, like they always do when their run by people who think they have the right to tell people what to do…god/hnm ls’s will almost never help noobs catch up and if your in one and your a noob then it’s not a good god/hnm ls anyway cause good ones don’t take noobs.. you have to be lv 75 for the serious god ls’s and typically have more than one job at 75 also. If your having trouble with quests ad stuff all you need is two things.. a keyboard and the ability to /shout…lol.. just get a social ls and get your basics done and a dynamis ls to get the flags, thats all you need until after 75.

From my experience, as I’ve been in a linkshell that had a similar message at one point, linkshell leaders don’t mind you having as many ls as you want… its necessary to have more than one towards endgame for all the different events anyway. However, the reason I got this message in my linkshell is because there were a lot of people who had 2 or 3 other social, general help linkshells, and would only come in to request help with an event and then leave and not come back for days until they need help again. Basically these people hop from linkshell to linkshell getting help but never giving help, because they "linkshell hop" to avoid it. Still, maybe the leader should have clarified this if it’s what he meant..
