Create Some New Battle Quotes!

Well, those that have been around here for a while probably know that I like the game’s battle quotes — so much that I even created a script (http://www.ffshrine.org/ffx2/ffx2_battlequotes.php) for them. However, some of them can get a bit repetitive sometimes, so I thought I’d start this thread, just as a fun idea where anyone that wants to can make up some of their own. Try to keep them creative and clean. Here are a few from me:

Yuna: Duck soup!
Paine: Duck what?
Yuna: Duck whatever!
– Start of Battle

Yuna: You’re not gonna go all pyro on us, are you, Paine?
Paine: Shut it.
– Paine uses fire-based magic

Yuna: I have become darkness incarnate! … Just kidding!
– Yuna switches to Dark Knight dressphere.

Paine: I don’t consider it stealing, just "found items."
– Paine steals.

Yuna: (chanting) Darkness, darkness, darkness!
Paine: What’s gotten into you?
– Yuna uses Dark Knight Darkness.

Yuna: Ha sa te ca…
Rikku: Huh? Uh? Trema!? Yunie — that’s not nice!
– Yuna casts Ultima.

Yuna: Hey, I can give the "heal" too!
– Yuna uses curative magic.

E tyna yhouha amca du tu paddan!

Wasn’t it heel?l

Paine: Geez, why did i have to switch to this???
Brother( Intercom): Paine….Dancing!!!! I give money!!!

It was "heel," however, obviously for white magic, it’s "heal." You know, homophones?

Rikku: Paine, stealing isn’t nice.
Paine: I’m not stealing, just borrowing without any intention of giving back.

Yuna: Ooops, I think I chose the wrong one (changing to mascott dressphere)

Rikku: Awww!

Yuna: (sounding very depressed) Game over, man. Game over.
– Game Over when wearing Lady Luck dressphere

Paine: No! Now the record will be lost forever!
– Game Over

Rikku: It’s just like winning the lottery!
– Rikku switches to Lady Luck dressphere.

Yuna: Na na na na na! Live in the U.S.? You don’t get this, sucker!
– Yuna switches to Psi-Kicker dressphere.

Yuna: Na na na na na! Live in the U.S.? You don’t get this, sucker!
– Yuna switches to Omatsurishi dressphere.

I don’t get those either, was that from international and last mission those dresspheres?

Yep, that’s right. International and Last Mission only. (Which I don’t have myself, so I’m feeling the pain too.)

Try eBay, however, you may need to chip your console or have special software. I know that’s true for people in the U.S., I don’t know about Ireland.
