Viewing Material….

This is a general request for some suggestions on what anime’s i should watch.

So far i’ve seen…..Akira, Ghost in the shell, Blackjack, ninja scroll, Perfect Blue and Neon Genesis Evangeleon. I liked all of these and liked those that made me think.
Im not worried about violence in the films, but im not looking for porny stuff!

Any suggestions?

FLCL
this is something that everyone should see
the animation and music are just incredible and the humor is so addictive, i’ve seen it like 8 times since i bought it(if you can, try and check the manga first)
bit hyperactive maybe but just ride it and then analyze.. if you feel like it

Mindgame
falls a bit in the same category of FLCL
really unique in its visual style and a fairly simple story but with a great message and incredibly directed

Planetes
A social commentary on the past, present and future and although it is set in the distant future it probably defines realism in anime

Is FLCL an accronym, or the actual title?

FLCL = Fooly cooly (pronounced "foo-ree coo-ree") a Japanese slang term for groping a woman’s breasts
you will hear it more then once in the anime x)

its a Gainax production(Neon Genesis Evangelion) and the animation was done by I.G Production(Ghost in the shell) ^^

Sounds a bit risque. An interesting addition to my japanese lingo. lol 😀
