Sig of the Week (SOTW) Competition

An idea used by many artistic forums, SOTW is the competition in which artists on the forum put forward their work for scrutinizing by the other members, usually art is posted by an admin in a poll, and then the others vote on it, but because I hope this will be ongoing, I will be making this similar to a rumble, except it won’t be 1vs1. The rules are as follows:

1) You must have made at least 5 sigs for members of the Shrine to qualify
2) You must use your own artwork, rips will be disqualified
3) The artwork can either be original or with a render
4) Artwork can be made using any electronic media such as photoshop or psp
5) All artwork for entry into the competition must be PM’d to UltimateFFFan by the Friday of the week, work recieved after this time will not be accepted.
6) All queries are to be directed to UltimateFFFan via PM
7) Entrants cannot vote on the outcome, they must simply sit and watch
8) No changes of votes, once you’ve made it, it stays that way
9) UltimateFFFan reserves the right to deny any member qualification into the SOTW competition.

I hope that’s everything, and I hope this thread gets stickied, as it was mine and Shinryudan’s brainchild. Anyway, please PM me with all artwork by next Friday (30th) to be entered into the competition.

Hmmm, a good idea yes, but it depends on how many people enter……..

I would enter… but sadly… i havent made enough sigs for anyone on the site…

Alright, alteration to the rules:

If you are part of the current gfx team, you have automatic entry :p now you’ve got round that Lush, you’re in right?

Right, seen as one deadline has passed already, there is a new deadline. The new deadline is one week after my last post of the previous week, if people can understand that, if not, I’m just going to let this slip the collective rectum

this is what I think should happen to the list.
just my own thoughts

1) Nothing that is not safe for work, forum rules apply.
2) You must use your own artwork, rips will be disqualified
3) The artwork can either be original or with a render
4) Artwork can be made using any electronic media.
5) All artwork for entry posted within this thread by the Friday of the week, work recieved after this time will not be accepted.
6) All queries are to be directed to UltimateFFFan via PM
7) Entrants cannot vote on the outcome, they must simply sit and watch
8) If you wish to change a vote, you must edit your post by the end of the time period. If you attempt to edit it after the deadline then your vote will NOT count.
9) Any member can join.
10) sigs must meet the forum requirments on size, 400x150px max and 50KB
