i am absolutaly pissed at myself…i started playing ff8 and never finished it,well its been about 3 years and i wanted to finish it, but they dont have it anywhere in town!!!! My Final Fantasy Heart has been broken!!!!!

I feel the same, ff8 and ff11 are the only games that are missing to me, I bougth the ff8 game, and it got broken, and I bougth that thing again and somebody stole the game, that game is cursed

I originally played Final Fantasy VIII on PC, worked great. Later I got it for Playstation also — that one had a disc problem, but mine was on eBay, so I got in touch with the seller and they were absolutely great about sending a replacement disc.

Just ask your parents to buy it for you of the internet. I goy FFVIII of ebay for �5.

thats what im tryin to do, but my parents arent into buying stuff off ebay, they say its a scam…

So find somebody who has a 100% positive feedback with like 1000 transactions or something and show it to them. Beat this ridiculous paranoia with facts…

Go to second hand shops, ask a friend, go to ebay, go to half.com try amazon and try the amazon second hand features, check shops to see if they have any, go to a game shop and check their pre-owned games, browse the net for second hand shops, I’d be amazed if you couldn’t find a single Final Fantasy VIII game from any of those places..

I still have to finish FFVIII, I’ve had for a couple years now. I’ve been playing it lately, so I’ll hopefully finish this year.

Do you know how hard it is to convince a "carring" parent to buy a game for you?

^^i know…ouf…but i’m begining to be good at convincing(sp) my mom.it takes days and days of work…you need to repeat them that’s important to you and excuses like:”i NEED this game…it’s very important to let go the frustration somewhere…” or ”my life is so boring…sob…sob…if only i had something that could cheer me up…” or ”this help me developping(sp) my imagination…”
Well when i keep saying these over and over my mom cracks under the pressure and i get what i want.anyways this works with my mom!

Alpott’s ideas are good. There couldn’t be no gaming store there in your place. I mean there has to be one! Just go to a gaming store and check it if they have FFVIII there.

Otherwise, convince your parents that Ebay is actually a good place/website to buy things.

Well if you want i might sell my version of it on Ebay, cause i think i’ve become bored of that FF.

ive never finished it either, I got eden from that weapon (omega? ultimate? whatever it’s name) and could probably thrash ultimecia using the aura, hero, renzokuken thingy i beat weapon with but that castle takes away my enthusiasm.
Also disk 4 nearly ruins the whole game for me.
