okay, can sum1 tell me wat INUYASHA is about. i dont really understand it

Okay see, i only watched half of 1 ep of inuyasha and i dont understand it.can sum1 kindly post a reply tellin me wat it is.

It is about a teenage girl, who is the reincarnation of a priestess, she is taken to the past and meets a demon, then she accidently splits up a jewel which a lot of demons are after, so she and the demon go out, searching for the parts of the jewel, meet some more allies and fiends, an some day fall in love.

The heroin, Kagome, lives a normal teenage life, until she falls down a well that is actually a gateway to another world, learning she has a jewel in her body. This jewel is a sacred jewel that grants anyone’s wish, whatever it may be. A demon rips it out of her body and threatens to kill her. She sees a boy attached to a tree with an arrow in his chest. The boy (Inuyasha) tells her to pull out the arrow so he can kill the demon. He himself is a demon…errr…half-demon who also wants the jewel, but he decides to rip out the demon first, them go after Kagome. A nearby priestess, Kaede, throws a neckless on Inuyasha while hunting down Kagome and tells her to say a secret word that can bind his power. While she guesses, she notices Inuyasha is a dgo-demon thing, she suddenly says, "Sit, boy." Inuyasha is finally defeated by Kagome, but still wants the jewel for his own purposes. A crow demon comes along and steals the jewel soon enough and Kagome pulls up an arrow and accidentally breaks it. So Kagome and Inuyasha venture on to gather up the shards of the Shikon Jewel.
