Gundam SEED Destiny Afterthoughts

With Destiny About to end in a week, what are your feelings about its ending….

I liked Gundam SEED Alot, and Actually I like it even more than let’s say wing or g. It freely reminded me of Zeta and UC Stuff, Especially in Destiny where they have revived the ZAKU, GOUF and DOM Concepts in CE, Also it pains me alot that SEED is underrated by most Wingers because of Kira’s tendency to be very sensitive at times but I’m afraid they would have to eat their words in Gundam SEED Destiny, there’s pretty much a scene of Kira destroying 25 MS and 3 Ships in two minutes

Well, I have to say I was a bit apprehensive about SEED after seeing the abominations that were W and G, but I wound up being very pleasantly surprised by it. I wouldn’t put it on the level of most of the UC stuff, but it’s a pleasant throwback to it in a lot of ways.

As you said, the classic mechs reappearing in SEED Destiny was really neat. I also loved the way the tone of the show hearkened back to Zeta. Nice pacing also. Still, there were a few things I had very mixed feelings about, mostly regarding the way certain characters reappeared. Miriallia in particular.

Altogether, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing the end of this one and I’ll be watching anxiously for the last of the SEED trilogy to begin next year.
