Why Square, why only 3 playable characters???

I really found it annoying that we could play with only three characters. Am I the only one? I don’t think. What I love in the final fantasy serie is that normally, we have many differnt playable characters so that it’s not always the same. And what annoyed me more is that every girl can turn into the same thing. once I got the berseck dressphere, I gave up training the other dresspheres.

Me too. When I first played the game I thought maybe soon enough I can play as Gippal, Nooj, and Baralai also. But I thought wrong. 🙁

Also, I heard that in the International+Last Mission FFX-2 version(I’m not sure if that’s the right version…) there are some parts in the game where you can play as Leblanc, Logos and Ormi.

I was always hoping for Lulu and Wakka to join the fight. I was deeply disappointed.

I was told by a friend (yes, one of the retard ones) that Tidus was gonna be the main character for like half of the game with some other guys. Turned out he had seen a trailer of FFXII and thought it was from X-2.

Yup. But actually I was only hoping for Wakka to join because mainly, Lulu was pregnant, and as we all know, pregnant woman can’t fight ugly monsters.

I dunno, for some reason I never really minded that you could only play using YRP. Having some of the other characters in your party would have been nice though, I suppose.

And, yes, rinoa_heartilly, that is indeed the right version, which I’d still kinda like to get ahold of someday…

Meh, I got over it. It didn’t really bother me that much only because I love FFX and FFX-2 so much that it would take something worse than that to make me mad over it.

some people actually complain that there are too many characters in ff games. the dresspheres are more than substitutes for these characters, but i found the game kinda boring after the first 15 hrs….

Does it really matter? You could customise the characters a lot more than other final fantasys so it made up for it and having lots of characters is annoying as-speaking about me here-I have three level 70/80 characters and the rest are left behind. I’m not into lets get everyone to level 100,

I think it’s worth pointing out that Final Fantasy V only had five playable characters (not all that far off from FFX-2) and at any given time, you could only play four of them, sometimes less.
