Velvet Revolver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any Velvet Revolver fans here!!???? fucking rock n’fucking roll right!!????

I did hate them but I listenened to them and Guns N’ Roses a few weeks ago to give them both another chance and yes Velvet Revolver are pretty good. Slither is an excellent song. Guns are better even though I hate Axl Rose.

I bought the album when it came out, I dunno why, it’s crap. Though saying that I do remember I wrote a review of it the day that I got it and in that I loved it, but essentially it’s a terrible record, I would have expected alot more….though actually I don’t know why. I don’t like GnR that much, and Stone Temple Pilots were good but Scott Weiland was far from the most talented member of STP.

fall to pieces is a pretty good song imo, but i havent liked anything else ive heard. i only listened to them cos i loved stp (i hate gnr).

i don’t think i’d like any band that you like… mr. zell hell yeah!

I love VR, and I love Gn’R. Favourite songs are Sucker Tran Blues, Slither and Loving The Alien.

Velvet Revolver is another one of those big band mash-up deals (at least the members of Audioslave have talent) that fails to impress me… neither of the bands the members came from were too good to begin with (GnR totally sucked and Stone Temple Pilots were acceptable)…

they’re called supergroups!!!! and yeah audioslave are great but thats because they keep playing the same old Rage against the machine riffs over and over – VR do not and Guns n Roses do not suck – FAR FROM IT! and Stone temple pilots are awesome so when you throw them together – a AWESOME supergroupis formed!!!! well to me anyway.

Velvet Rvolver are one of the best Rock n Roll bands around.

I saw them recently at the SECC in Glasgow and Scott Weiland has a brilliant stage presence.

Axl from G n R has an annoying voice

Most over-rated band of the last few years? Probably.
Are people just buying it ‘cos they want to hear Slash’s 2 minute guitar wanks? Probably.

well if they sound that good then yeah! i’d buy the album " SLASHES GUITAR WANKS!!!" featuring many guest’s and duff’s bass wanks! – tsh!!

I’ve only heard two of their singles, Slither and some sappy ballad. Slither has an OK riff, but that’s all it has going for it…it’s too damn repetitive. The whole song is slight variations of how that one riff is played. Slight. The other song didn’t appeal to me at all, it sounded really goofy to me.

I think it’s good that these guys are out there doing their thing and all, but so far the music doesn’t appeal to me very much.

Velvet Revolver is very good, for the most part, but I have major problems with Scott Weilland. Stone Temple Pilots (also great) broke up because of his irresponsibility and constant drug use. The other members were great, and just faded away, while Scott, mediocre at best, gets back to the top easily. Slash is cool though.
