The annoyance of enemy skills

Beta and Trine are both obtainable from bosses yes?
Shame the first time i played through i didnt realise that so could not complete the materia.
Anyone else suffer from this annoyance?
The fact you have to wait for the enemy to use the skill on you also totally sucks. Does Lancet for Kimarhi in FFX solve the problem??

Enemy skill wasn`t an "annoyance" at all for me. First time around i got all the enemy skills because i took my time with the bosses. Although i can see where your coming from.

Beta is obtainable at any point, becasue that snake comes back to life. And I think that there are some enemys with Trine. They look like the materia keeper. And if you can’t get them to attack you with it. Use Manipulate

Enemy skills are really nice. They can get you out of a tight spot.

i managed to get all the enemy skills but if you miss ultima weapons finishing shot, the shadow flare, i don’t think that you can get it anywere else

I’m on disk one and I have most of the Enemy Skills availible there except ‘Chocobuckle’ and a few others. I find Aqualung, Beta, and Trine EXTREMELY useful. And I wouldn’t have gotten so many without Agent’s eskill guide.

Most enemy skills suck hard. The only really good ones are Big Guard, White Wind,Angel Whisper, Magic Breath, Aqualung and Beta… the rest is pretty much useless…. THIS IS MY OPINION PEOPLE….NOT A FACT!!!

Most of them were usful. Especially Matra Magic because you get it as SOON as you get out of Midgar, and most enemies were weak to it around that area. ???? was pretty good too, I do like 5000 dmg with it on my Yuffie.
