How do i light the candle?
If you are talking about the Desert Palace?

Key Points are:
– Light the candles to open pathways
– Collect as many Bloodstones as possible along the way
Collection the bloodstones deactivates the boss’s powers

So this is what you do (trying to be specific but not long winded)
When you get control of Eiko or Freya or Vivi (or whoever depending on who you chose to go to Oeilvert) Go left and find the 3 statues- these are the first 3 you see. Remember there is a Moogle Shop on the right side. At the statues- examine the first statue then examine the right statues. Go left, go right, and then go left again; this should open a blue light passageway behind the middle statue, go up there and light the candle; head back to the statues and go left- this will then open the passway to another place

Light up all the lights you can on the left side- this should unlock a passway to get to the other side (blocked by the statues), then on the other side light up all the lights- this removes the statues on the right. In the middle there is a larger candle thing, light that up (and the one under that). Follow the path (collecting items and the bloodstones) to reach a library.

In the library light up the candle on the bottom right of the screen, then the one on the left of the top shelf- this unlocks a passage way, follow it and light the candle, then head back to the library. There now should be an opening on the left side of the library- go through and save at the moogle, then go left again.

Over there you will see two gargoyle statue (one on the other side). Light the statue on both sides- this unlocks a blue light passage way (stairs)- collect the bloodstones around and go up (remember to save your game (again) if you need to). You should now reach the boss, Valia Pira.

What everyone’s trying to say, but nobody has actually yet said plainly yet, is that we don’t need these help center threads. There’s always somebody every so often who thinks they have to start one of these "ask the expert" / "help center" threads. If people have questions about stuff, they’ll start their own thread about it or look for an existing thread. Or they’ll Google for a link, just you did. Nobody cares about or needs these "help centers."

I have a question for you.

Isn’t that Vivi’s place? Well if it is then you get out of Treno and go to the wood ( on your right) you’� see a mountain junction go there and you’l find a ? sign press x and your in it

I hated the desert palace part. It was sooo boring and long because you had to go back and forth between those candles to light them plus I had to use the 4 characters I didn’t like as much as the other 4 which made it 3 times as bad lol

So what is this, a general discussion thread now? Why hasn’t it been closed already?
