If one were say, a little complacent, and had forgotten to visit the Shinra mansion basement, only to remember five hours of gameplay later that the consequences of which meant no destruct materia, where might one be able to purchase said materia, at a no doubt inflated cost?
In other words, where can I buy the destruct materia from, monkeys?

Nope. I checked it out on a reliable site. Although, you buy it in Mideel, i wasn`t saying you get it from the chocobo.
