It doesn’t really matter…ok,it does but ur skills would help mostly.Try to make barret have his 7777 attack power (check cheats for things to equip) with a few accesories but theoretically it’s almost impossible…

Yeah, and you don’t even need the Underwater materia to beat the Emerald Weapon. I’ve fought it more than 10 times (on legitimate attempts) and have never died from the timer.
Anyway, the easiest way to beat the Diamond Weapon is to do Chocobo Breeding and get KOTR. With KOTR, any boss you face except the Emerald and Ruby Weapons is toast.

Diamond Weapon was a pushover anyway. I enjoyed the battle though. Meteorain and Ultima do in most of the damage anyway. I never used KOTR. I mean… it’s too much overkill. I’ll only use that summon on Ruby or Emerald, where it’s needed.

Diamond weapon is the one that walks toward midgar and stops right? you can beat him easily
emerald is the one underwater, a little harder unless you know good materia combos

I ran into Emrald by accident the first time.After I got massicared(???) I swore revenge!!!!!Leveled up and went back to get my ass kicked another few times…Beat him eventually but hes a bastard!!!
