They’ll probably speed up the European launch, simply because the PlayStation 3 is on the horizon. The American launch is going to be 2 or 3 months after the launch as it is – people are going to be playing that gorgeous Killzone and the like, so they’ll need convincing to buy a PS2-gen game.

We’re hopefully looking around Christmas 2006 for Europe and Australia – I really don’t want to be paying full price for a PlayStation 2 game any later than that. My pockets are already going to be empty after getting the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and possibly the Revolution anyway.

I dont know about the US, but I am from UK and its due on 13/01/2006….from what I know the states release games usually before the UK!!!

Here’s a revolutionary idea for you. Read the thread before you post. The Japanese release date is March 12, so the date you posted cannot possibly be correct.

Well last generation final fantasy 8 came out around the same time as the dreamcast in the UK and it didn’t affect sales too much, 9 was much the same.
Not quite the same as 12 coming after ps3 though but still.

Also release dates are never garunteed so i’m afraid i wont belive any release date until i see it in the shops.
