What is a Modded X-box?

So okay, someone has a modded X-Box, then what? Are you going to start any sort of discussion, or should this be closed?

dude just answer the question and stop complaining. i have an xbox but it’s not modded.

It’s not about complaining, it’s about having serious discussions about something instead of posting who has this or that. Personally I find this thread rather useless.

My sister’s boyfriend has a modded Xbox with a hardrive and a couple of emulators and ROMs on it. Does that help you in any way?

i own a X-box but its not modded

I have a friends who mods X-boxes, he added a button to his control that turns it on and off and all sorts of other crazy things. Its rather interesting, but not worth the risks in my opinion.

The only reason I see people doing it is to copy games onto their hard drives. This is not cool at all to me. Causing games to make less money makes the game makers make less games. Hah, say that 3 times fast. I don’t like the idea of taking money away from people who work for it.

All of the games on my HD are games I own, bar of course THUG2. Because THUG2 is a pile of shit and most certainly should not be rewarded.

It makes games load so much faster.

I’ve never seen very long loading times on games for the X-box anyways, and that is not the main reason people get the box modded.

Well that’s why I got mine modded. That, and the emulation. And the watching of downloaded tv shows off the internet.

i don’t own an x-box but i do do mods for them,
but most of my mods are cosmetic weather it be a custom skin or removing the outer shell and making a custom one from wood.
