Inuyasha What is your Favorite Character?

I have a bunch of dvds and manga of inuyasha I love it. My favorite Character is Sesshomaru. I love the show it is so awesome and the manga is fun to draw……XD

I like Sesshomaru because of his personality and how he loves Rin so much. I also love all the stories behind him. Inuyasha is cool too, but Sesshomaru is the Best!! XD

Sesshoumaru has no personatily, his "loving" Rin is highly up to interpretation, and… WHAT stories behind him? XD But hey, whatever floats yer boat, huh?

My favorite character? Tessaiga. Because that’s basically the main character of the manga these days, y’know. Gets more character development than any of the other characters.

I agree! I love Sesshomaru, you can tell that he loves Rin sooo much and it makes him such a great character! I was talking with some friends in the anime club and we all agreed that anyone that can’t see that isn’t a real Inuyasha fan! And after talking… we watched some Inuyasha!

hmmm….i love them all. but i guess my favorite character would be miroku. a lot of th comedy involves him, and i love the way he and inuyasha interact in the early episodes when they meet each other. i also like to read some fanfics about inuyasha and miroku. ^^

now for some complaints. i hate the way they make kagome so weak. she is the freakin’ reincarnation of kikyo. she should have crazy powers. i mean, she sent an arrow at naraku and blows him apart, except his head. also, in the movie where she gets possessed, she gets crazy powers. now, i think that the guy possessing her is just drawing from her powers, so why can’t she have thosew powers normally?

a question: in the episode where they first meet miroku, he sees kagome in the hot springs. in the next scene, he is out of the hotsprings. does anyone knoe if that is how it is, or they just censored.ummm..some stuff in the adult swim version.(i can only watch it there)

Nothing was censored from the Japanese in Adult Swim. 😛

And Kagome isn’t weak. She’s a bit of a klutz, yes, but she’s not weak. 😛

i didn’t mean she was weak, i just meant that………well, let me describe what i mean. in the show, they are always like "kagome, stand back!" or "go hide kagome!" why can’t she just stay and fight? also, she never uses any cool priestess powers, besides when she senses for the jewel shards.

Yes, Kagome and the others have their points, but Miroku is obviously the livewire of the bunch. Kagome is the typical Japanese schoolgirl, Shippo is the weak lil foz-demon orphan, Sango is the oh-so lame demonhunter because she has a serious personallity and really doesn’t have a personallity more than your typical kill-and-run demonhunter, and Inuyasha is a reckless, hot-headed "hero" from hell. Sesshomaru is cool because of his everlasting hatred towards Inuyasha and Noraku, which makes him a neutral party. Koga’s essentially the same as Inuyasha. The Band of Seven are interesting villians, especailly their lassez-faire leader, Bankotsu. Miroku is the best character for his constant catch-phrase: "Please bear my child."

about kagome being strong, both are true because she gains confidence and strength as the story moves forward. she becomes much more powerful in the later episodes compared to the beginnig. so anyway, fav. chars are def. kagome’s grandfather, jagan or whatever sesshomaru’s helper is, and inuyasha himself. sesshomaru does have some cool stuff about him though.

I like InuYasha and Sesshomaru i guess…though i not like it all that much now, used to but it got stale after a while *tear* I liked Miroku and Sango though ^^

the things I hate about him……not much, except the fact that he’s in very few episodes and he barely has a history about himself except in the third movie.

It sounds like Sesshomaru clearly wins in this thread. I won’t contest. Let’s talk about why he’s awesome… since we all agree that he is. To me, his relationship with the other characters is very well done, and even though he has little back story, he has a very complex character. His relationship with Rin is pretty interesting. How he treats her, how she treats him, how Jagin (is that his name?) treats them both. Most of the episodes w/ him that I watch are Japanese subtitled in France, and I have to say that french better suits his character (lol). Notice that Jagin addresses him as Sesshomaru-sama? Not that it is unexpected, but that’s just one of those little things that is lost in translation. I love watching that group! ("Puissant Sesshomaru… Inuyasha vient"). Also, he has white hair. Cool. His look and action is pretty ill. I like his voice-actor in the English dubbed that I can check out on Adult Swim in the rare event that i’m done hw before 12:30. Peace

I think Miroku is the best because he gets always in trouble with girls and he is close to die some times but at the end he is back to the normal pervert and i think he is one of the funniest characters in the movie
