Final Attack Materia?

I’ve been trying contantly to get this materia for two days now. In my FF7 strategy guide, it tells me that the Final Attack Materia is obtainable as a "chocobo racing prize". Well, I must have gone through a hundred S-Class races with my Gold chocobo, and the "Final Attack" materia hasn’t shown up once in the prize box thing. After a few races, Ester stopped me and said something like, "Wow! I haven’t seen anybody win so many s-class races since Joe." and then she gave me a bunch of items, but the final attack materia was not one of them. Any help?

The official FF7 Strategy Guide is wrong. It is a prize for winning Special Battles at the Battle Square, not as a Chocobo Racing Prize. Hope that solves it. You need to buy Omnislash and W-Summon and then you can participate in the Special Battles. Instead of Tissues, you will win Combat Diary, Masamune Replica, etc. and Final Attack is one prize.

Yeah, it`s almost to good imo.

ALMOST too good? How is not dying ever (mastered FInal Attack) ALMOST too good? It is RIGGED and cheap as hell. I beat Emerald weapon with my buster sword after I equipped everyone with that. Same with Ruby.

I never knew about the final attack materia. I didn’t even know the HUGE materia was worth a shit till a month ago. I’ve had the game for about 2 years now being that someone stole my old one. Needless to say i’ve been pissed about the seemingly uselessness of the huge materia up till now and i’m glad I didn’t buy the strategy guide. Better off printing from the web!

you should really use final attak with knights of round. thats how i beat sephiroth.

I don’t know if it was just my game programing, but Sephiroth sucked in the end. He just sat there with his shirt off while I pummled his ass even with my weakest materia!

Final attacks a great materia especially when paired wit phoenix.

pheonix is a really good one to combine it with, since when all your party dies pheonix will revive everyone with full health
