FF best start (SPOILERS)

Of all the final fantasy, which has the best beginning? I’d go for FFX because of the destruction of Zanarkand by Sin! It was the most brutal start of any FF games I have played.

I say FF X had teh best start.

i’m sorry and will have to disagree. i believe that ff2 has the best begining. I even enjoyed it more on the ps1 in ff origins

I vote for FFviii because of the squall and seifer fight and the music.

Why did you miss out 3?

Well i say 7 is the best althought 7, 8, 9 and 10 all have fantastic beginnings.

and I have seen them all in that list plus 3.

10 had the best. Just having Auron in the beginning gives it that title.

FFVII had the best. An excellent cg cut scene pefectly flowing into an in-game set piece.

I’d say FFVIII, again for the amazing graphics with Squall and Seifer’s fight, which just showed the animosity between the pair and showed off the gunblades 😀 and also the music was just amazing

I think FF X has the best, after that FF VIII

my vote goes to 7 because it’s opening fmv seamed flawlessly into the game.

FFVIII had the best opening!The fight beetween Squall and Seifer,Squall promising to Rinoa,Edea it shows many characters and the 1st time you see it, it makes u wonder who are these people what are they doing?Plus the music is awesome!!!

Well put, but FFVII had the second best start.

I didn’t put FF3 in the list cause I heard that it was the same as FF6….

Well it ain’t.
But I’m voting for FF3 although it’s not in the list: Four kids drop in a hole. Fascinating! Then there’s the staring text also which I like quite a lot. And the music is perfect.

FFX- The music and destruction was just bad-ass, plus u see blitzball 4 the first time!

FFX, its destruction and terror want your eye’s to stick to the screen.

Easily VIII. The start of VIII is probably the best thing about that game.

Id definetly hav to go wit FF7 the PS1 intro not to talk less of the intro remake on the ps3

Not only does the graphics not make it the best beginning, we are not talking about remakes of any of the beginnings, just the ones on the game.

FFVIII easily had the best opening. Too bad the rest of the game didn’t live up to the opening.

FFVIII had a great opening. But, X’s was badical as well.

FFVII…playing it back in 1997, the first 3D intro for an rpg I have ever witnessed back then, then it zooms to the train and ACTION, with some amazing piece of music!!!! I got traumatised forever!
