Bevelle, Chp 5 Episode complete?

Split infinity’s guide says:

"Beam down, and go all the way N to the main entrance for a scene with Maroda – in the scene that will follow YOU MUST SEE ISAARU! Regardless of who you sided with you receive EPISODE COMPLETE! And SCOURGEBANE GG to boot!"

I definitely saw the scene with Maroda, and I defnitely saw Isaaru, I also received Scourgebane GG, but I do NOT have episode complete!

I read in the via inifinito thread that I don’t need to complete that sidequest dungeon to obtain 100%, but there is STILL a hotspot over Bevelle.

What? You don’t have episode complete? Wait, did you see the sign after the scene in Bevelle that says "Episode Complete"? If you have then you’re episode complete. But the, you said there’s still a hotspot in Bevelle. It’s because you have activated the sidequest of Via Infinito. That hotspot won’t go away until you’ve finished the sidequest.

I just don’t know why, but I’m not really sure if it really doesn’t require to finish the Via Infinito sidequest to get 100%. I’m pretty sure you need to do the Via Infinito sidequest to get 100%.

ya know what…I’m pretty sure I did see the episode complete message, but when I’m on celsius, browsing through destinations, all the areas show episode complete except Bevelle, which still has a hotspot…so I think you’re correct.

You are correct — once you have begun the Via Infinito mission, your status for Bevelle will change to "Mission" / Hotspot, regardless of whether or not you received an Episode Complete for Bevelle. Incidentally, did you get the Mascot Garment Grid? (I’m guessing you were trying for that.)

P.S.: Once you’ve completed Via Infinito, your airship listed status for Bevelle will change to Mission Complete rather than Episode Complete. That’s just how it is — it doesn’t mean that you didn’t get Episode Complete.
