Sorcerer??? (FF5)

I think I missed the sorcerer crystal piece (it was at walz tower right?) is there a way I can get it later in the game?? Am I missing out on much???

you mean the crystal piece that gives you the sorcerer job right(havent played it in a while)im pretty sure you get it some where else but im not 100% sure

I don’t remember a sorcerer crystal, i know theres red\blue\black\white wizard….but i could be wrong……nahhh.

There is a sorcerer crystal, but I can’t tell you if it crops up later or not. As for missing out or not, I haven’t needed it, but it might suit your fighting style.

the sorcerer job in ffv is one of the baddest , so even if you can’t have it , it wouldn’t be a catastrophe

its the mime crystal in walz tower. on world 3 use the submarine to find the tower. go to the bottom of the tower running from every battle. you’ll fight gogo. do nothing for about 3/4 minutes. and you get mime crystal.

the scorceror uses sword magic ( think its found at karnak)

I checked online its wierd on my game (Snes) it’s called MagicKnight thats why i didn’t know, yea it isnt too good except the fact that it can use magic as much as you want for the cost of one spell.

I’ve had quite a bit of fun using Sorcerers, but theyre in no way a nessicity.

Like it has been said before, they are a very useful and fun class, but the game would not be that much more difficult without them. I found the class particularly useful in getting Ifrit and Shiva, but otherwise, it’s only a mediocre warrior, and a substandard mage rolled into one. You have to have a very specific strategy in mind for the class to be of any use at all.

I like the sorcerer. What I like to do is have my potential Sorc play the Knight at least until s/he gets the two-handed ability, and then switch to Sorc.

I have my potential Sorcerror play ninja until he or she gets two swords.
