Since when is it called "emorock"? Geez. That sounds even stupider than just "emo".

Starting lineCrap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, crap and o.k. After all that and you dare to use Iron Maiden’s font in your sig, phhht, you could have least listed 3 o.k. ones, or perhaps even a good one, and it might have been permissable.

If you have the authority to tell a mod to close it, surely you can do it yourself.

A guy who used to be in my German class in high school apparently punched out the lead singer of The Starting Line at a show because he was acting like a stupid shit. Also: The record store I go to has a bunch of Starting Line shirts because the dad of someone who was in the band came in and was like "Can you sell these shirts for my son’s band."

I like emo. Though I haven’t heard most of the bands on your list except for Hawthorne Heights. But I don’t really like them.

From that list I only heard songs from Yellowcard, Hawthorne Heights, and maybe I might have heard a song or 2 from the Starting Line. I think those bands are great.

How can something you put your heart and soul into NOT be emotional?

Emo is "rock." That is such an incredibly broad term, it seems rather bizarre to attempt to disinclude just about anything from it. X_X

Then you got the actual "emo" people. Those who hate themselves and their lives, usually for no reason whatsoever – my guess is trend whores. Theres hundreds of them where I live.

the rock music I listen to is infinitely more aggressive. I like fast, complex songs. I’m not the type that’s calling everything expressing emotions other than the urge for destruction and chaos "gay" but I just can’t get into the ‘softer side’ of rock music. I’m very picky about it. I really can’t accept anything that sounds like it’s trying too hard to be epic and poppy etc.
