hi. im new here and i just have a question. i beat the game but my caracters never got to a very high level. also i dont have the cool wepons that zidane was about to get cause i was foolish and sold them. so anyway. while was going to a shop that was on top of a moutain were the cool dude that makes all the great stuff is. i noticed that on and island theres a big spot thats black thats hovering in the sky. is that Ozma? if it was what does this monster do? how do you beat it? and what do i have to do to beat it?

no that isnt ozma thats chocobos air garden but ozma is in there and you beat him like you would any other boss but in oder to make it easyer you need to find and do what the friendly monsters ask you to give them and then you are able to attack him phisically. and the only thing you need to fight him is a flying chocobo

You really don’t need to bother with enabling physical attacks. Physical attacks do a minimal amount of damage anyway, and you should have something for every character to do besides that (yes, even Zidane needs to be using items, because that’s really the most useful thing he can do when he doesn’t have trance). Now, generally it’s a good idea to have at least one means of doing 9999 damage that’s consistent. For me, that was Frog Drop, and that worked well because Quina always did 9999 with Frog Drop, even when mini. The same thing applies with Freya’s Dragon Crest if you’ve defeated enough dragons, which you can do by casting Quina’s Level 5 Death on Grand Dragons. The other one is Steiner’s Shock, but that one costs much more MP and it becomes weak when he is mini.
