Seifer, Good or Evil?

Seifer a goodie or a baddie? What do you think?

Well he is good but is under control from edea and ultemicia.

But in my opinion seifer is a gud guy just missunderstood

half and half.

seifer’s a bad guy because he will do anything to reach his dreams(sorceress’ knight) even though he has to kill all the SeeDs.

seifer’s also a good guy because he just misunderstood what’s really happening around him.

I think he’s evil/bad

no hes not evil/bad he is just being manipulated into beccoming a sorseresses knight but he still has evil in him

Seifer is not good nor is he evil. He only works for himself. Manipulated? Nope. He followed Edea out of his own will. He continued his plans after Edea was free of Ultimecia because he wanted to. Sure Ultimecia was instructing him, perhaps, but he wasn’t under her control. If he was all that evil we would’ve had to kill him. And since he’s not good either he didn’t return to Garden at the end (at least, I assume he didn’t) but instead did what he wanted.

He can’t really be called good, since he never did care about what happened. He fought because he was following what he thought was HIS dream, not anyone else’s. If that involved helping Ultimecia, he couldn’t care less. He was doing what he wanted.

Seifer just wants power

He’s always the antagonist; as Squall’s rival, orphanage bully, Sorceress’ Knight.

Misguided and manipulated by Ultimecia as much as Edea was. By which time he’s too-power drunk to realise what’s going on around him, or he’s still under Ultimecia’s influence, because he’s still of some use to her, unlike Edea.
Seifer’s a bad-ass, and a bully, but he’s not evil. Neither does he want "power" as such. He just wants to be the best, and Ultimecia uses this to tempt him. He’s in exactly the same circumstances as Rinoa is when she causes the Lunar Cry. You’re not saying she’s a "baddie". At least Seifer doesn’t annoy the hell out of me by being a complete wet rag!

A misguided soul, neither entirely good nor entirely bad. I was pleased to see him seeming to move on as such in the ending.

That’s correct. And a lot of people turn evil if they they have the change to get power…

I think he is a good guy. You can see it at the end of the game. He’s just back normal again.
