Depending on where he is i’d say the Island closest to hell is the best place to level up!, but the monsters are pretty damn hard!, if you want to get good XP with easier monsters then go to the island closest to heaven, but make sure you have a ribbon, as there are marlboro’s everywhere on both islands!

I would recommend hell and heaven but we dont no where he is so.

Then either go to esthar to start with and level up for a while as they are your level then go to either heaven or hell.

Ask most avid ff8 players you canot have ribbons. Thats y have u have status junctions on ff8.

This much is true but the same effect can be acquired with 100 esunas junctioned to status-defense. Also on the islands mug will become your best friend. Running in times of need should not be embarrassing as long as you are alive. There are some wicked monsters on those islands so watch your ass. I would stick around ester 4 a while then go to heaven/hell as suggested by Jander.

Yes but having esuna doesnt give you hundred percent against everything. They were very clever in FFVIII in that they made sure there was alway some sort of status affect open to the characters even with esuna eqiuped to status df

there’s no ribbon accesory in ff8. you CAN’T even equip an accesory in ff8. you can only remodel weapons, but that’s it.

lvl 39 you will be destroyed on Hell/Heaven.best place to go at that level is Research Center where you get Bahamut.on the way to Ultima Weapon exp is good.its tough though,you’ll need the best weapons and plenty of high-lvl junctions

low lvls wont die quickly if you use degenerator you gina lvls quick with that move

Uh not the best place. Ruby dragons breath will destroy them.

i think so. that’s what the pocketstation is for anyway. for chocobo world. to get items that cannot be obtained in ff8 without a pocketstation.

If you’ve got a good junction set up so your strong and 9999 hp then you shud be able to survive a bit on heaven/hell. Hes got the ragnorak so he’ll be able to go to places to get the best magics. Levels arent really that important in 8, more about what you got junctioned and your weapon

best place to train from my point of view is esthar after you get the lunar cry on your ass 😛

at the junction of Odine’s laboratory go north, and you will see a ‘bit darker’ esthar soldier. if you talk to him a fight with an Elnoyle will begin.

here just beat him or degenerate/lionheart him, whatever you want. he gives an enormous amount of Exp and AP
