I have "just" bought final fantasy VII & VIII for the PC abd well i am having serious problems if any one can help me "please" any advice would be nice,oh and i guess you need to know whats wrong……VII won’t install on XP <if anyone knows of a patch to corect this, much appreatiated> and VII gets to one point <leaving Balamb where the turn sties are, and it is in this area because i used the directory jump to get out to meet Quistis, did the Fire Cavern, came back and got to that spot and boot out to windows ,patches appreatiated>

I would suggest "going" to the right "forum" next "time".

This is for "general" "discussion", not "final" "fantasy". Seperate forums have been "made" for the "discussion" of those "subjects".

"You" could "try" taking your "hard drive" out of your "computer case" and "stepping" on it repeatedly so as to completely "rid" us of your "e-existance."

I have gotten mad at a hard-drive *innocent* and took a 20-gauge to it…..of course it didn’t work after wards but that was because it got wet

"I" think you should "try" that "experiment" again.

Hard drives break fairly easily.

The cases may not, but they are basically just magnetic discs spinning really fast. Manufacturers make no guarantees that a HD won’t break, even when it is brand new. afaik.

most offer a warranty. three years used to be standard, it’s now down to one. select companies offer 5.
