FFVII PS3 TECH DEMO

After seeing the ffvii ps3 tech demo, it has made me want a ffvii remake even more. Although it looks like the ps2, the re-done opening sequence just really want to play ffvii on a next gen machine. Should they make a remake? Is the tech demo an actual pre-view to a game? Were you impressed by it?

Well, i personaly think it will happen. Square know they could make a lot of money on it, so why not go for it??. If they bother creating sequels and prequels, why not a remake??/

If they were going to remake FFVII for the PS2 for example, don’t you think they’d have done so long ago?

Also, Squeenix hasn’t told us anything about a possible remake, unlike the announcements about the sequel/prequel.

anyway i would like to know were you found those btw why does cloud wear black clothes? it was blue in ff7. Unless it has something to do with AC.

Blue Clothes? Were’nt they Purple? (Black in the FMVs)
But it does appear to have something to do with AC, as he looks exactly the same.

Maybe you’re right they were kind of black in the FMVs, but i think it might be sort of dark blue, because in the official artwork cloud has very dark blue clothes, i’l have to check the FMVs though, might be different.

Inngame they are purple yes. doesn’t make any sense to me.

dont think that is ps3. if it will be released of ps3..it will look ALOT better when its done.

Meh, release something old into something new and you’ll always get less amount of people buying it.

If any of the games deserves a remake it is FFVII.

But yea, the guy at the sony press conference that commented after the video was shown said specifically that they had no current plans for a remake and it was just a demo to show the rendering power of the PS3. Still fun to watch.

They’ve said they won’t remake FFVII although i’d still buy it if they did. The graphics are basic in-game PS3 graphics but they still have improvements to make.

that tech demo was of real-time ps3 graphics which did wet my appetitite at the prospect of playing ff7 looking that good, however, i’d rather they made ff12 and 13 amazing than rehash an already decent game.
