Correct.
Well, wouldn’t Jecht also disappear and sense he’s the final aeon, wouldn’t sin disappear as well if the faith stop dreaming?
Yes, it did.
Can someone clear this up or am I on to something?
Its obvious that Sin was just protection for Yu Yevon. As Bahamut/Fayth stated, Yevon is not good nor evil and who would know Yevon better than a fayth? I beleive the whole "Sin is punishment" thing was all started long ago in Bevelle out of fear seeing what Yevon had done to his own city.
I don’t think anyone went into the future, per se (if I remember correctly). Tidus and Jecht were both dreams in a dream world but when Jecht touched Sin he became more than a dream, as Tidus did when he touched Sin.
I’ve always been puzzled about Zanarkand. Granted, it was truly a city 1,000 years before Yuna and company destroyed Sin in Spira, I’m still stuck as to why Yu Yevon would summon the fayth to continue dreaming to create dream-Zanarkand. I can only assume that Yu Yevon wanted his old Zanarkand to never die which is why the fayth dreamt it. Also, was Zanarkand within Sin? At the end of the game didn’t everyone fight Jecht/Final Aeon in a half of the stadium in Zanarkand? And also, if it was dream-Zanarkand that Tidus lived in, how could it have gotten destroyed by Sin when Sin didn’t destroy it in the first place; Bevelle did?
It has been a while I’ve played this game so I may have a few things mixed up. Any help would be appreciated (sorry for hijacking).

The fayth dreamt about Zanarkand, Tidus ,Jecht ect. bcuz they are a part of the faythwhen you finish the game you see tidus in a bubble from the summit of the fayth and yes they did bcome more real when they came in contact with sin, then i noticed sin is just a link between dream world and real world so its more that just protection in that yu yevon can go bak to the "past" and get more fayth from the dream ppl and Jecht knew about this cuz he is sin no matter wat time so thats how Auron knew to take Tidus with him to Spira cuz i remember Auron saying "He wanted you to have a chance at life, I saw it in Sins eyes" so that further proves my point and since Auron is dead i remember sum1 sayin "Those dead soles are turned into fayth" so that gives Auron da abbility to "ride" sin to Tidus’s Zanarkand so since as i think Sin is a link to the present and "past" Auron can yeah as i explained. Ima hardcore FFX fan =)
its not a bubble
Sorry, we’re discussing about Jecht and the Fayth, not about if FFX is the best or not. Honestly, please stop posting things that are off-topic.
I’m just saying.
About the topic:
Tidus disappears when the faith stop dreaming correct? Well, wouldn’t Jecht also disappear and sense he’s the final aeon, wouldn’t sin disappear as well if the faith stop dreaming? Can someone clear this up or am I on to something?
Yes, both Jecht and Tidus were dreams of the fayth, but then, remember what the fayth said when Tidus was dreaming in the Fayth Scar in Mt. Gagazet? The fayth said that both Tidus and Jecht are more than just dreams. And if Jecht disappeared, yes, Sin might die, but then, there are other aeons, but if the fayth stopped dreaming, those aeons will be gone.
Honestly, I think Sin’s power doesn’t really rely on Jecht. I think it relies on Yu Yevon.
I beleive other wise. When Sin is made from the Final Aeon, he is all mighty and powerful. When Yevon stole the Aeons and tried to make to make a new one, it was still weak.
