Cerberus

Man everytime i fight him i get killed quite quickly can someone tell me som good tips on how to beat him?

Same problem was with me, and now it’s too late to go back for him since Galbadia Garden is nowhere in sight x_x . Just try raising your levels and collect a lot of spells to junction.

he’s an easy one if….
1. you have good junctions
2. have dispel magic(so when he casts triple on himself, you can remove it)
3. have some aura spells(so you can cast it on squall and he’ll do his renzokuken)
i think that’s all i had to defeat cerberus…

use carbuncle to put reflect on each of your chracters so when cerberus uses triple and a magic, it doesnt affect you. you will still want to cast dispel on him though because he will cast magics like tornado and quake, which do not reflect

I did was equip Initiative to one of my characters that has alot of Reflect and Dispel magic. During the start, I cast Reflect on him so he won’t be giving himself Double or Triple. I use Dispel if he manages to get one or two from me then I just blast him using GFs and Renzokuken. It also helps if you are at a good level and/or good junctions.

Hey dude, one more advice…

You’re gonna have a hard time beating Edea if you have a hard time defeating Cerebus.

Recommendations:

1) Upgrade your weapon to "Flame Saber" or higher (Yes, its possible to get lionheart at this point of time…)

2) Get tons of Chef’s Knives and refine them into death spells. Junction "Death" to "Status Defence" ESPECIALLY for Squall

3) Get squall to a damned low health

4) Have him to unleash Renzokuken…Edea should be dead within 1 renzokuken. BTW, Junction "Top Leveled Spells" (Examples: Thundaga, Firaga, Blizzaga) to Str. Lastly, be sure to draw GF Alexander before killing Edea as it only takes ONE Renzokuken to kill her if you followed the steps above.
