the area at the end of Sin right next to the tower is the last official place you can save, making that the end of the game, so to speak.

i suggest you train. the monsters inside Sin are hard. if you have no encounters, then i guess you can forget it.

I would train my aeons if i were you, because thay will be essential in defeating Jecht. I couldnt have done it without Animea and Bahumut. Ject always regains health!

yes, they’re essential, if you haven’t trained your characters pretty good. if you have maxed out their stats, in just three attacks, the whole jecht battle would be finished in no time.
