just wanna know because my friend said there is between terra, locke and celes, and my uncle who also plays final fantasy said that there is one but it’s not celes, he said that it’s edgar. i haven’t played this one and i’m just starting at it, but my uncle and friend sound very confusing! which of them is right?
*spoiler*The only thing close to it is Celes, Locke, and Rachel. However, Rachel is dead.
oh dear, i’ve never played any of the old ones (except for origins), and that comment makes me wonder what kind of a game it is….@_@
Like RM said, I think the "triangle" would be more likely between Locke, Celes, and Rachel, in a way. Just because Locke has feelings for both, and each has feelings for him. but after Rachel dies, that’s the end of that!
The problem there is that General Leo was WAAAAYYYYYY older than Terra.
well she loved those kids too.
By the way, in defense of my favorite blond-haired king, Edgar is not a lecher. He just has a quirky sense of humor, a little charm, and he was in all likelihood joking about the little girl. HE IS NOT A PEDOPHILE!
Anyway, Terra was not in love with Locke. Locke was not in love with Terra. Locke loved Celes.
It’s really a matter of speculation. I’m a huge fan of Terra/Edgar, even though there’s little game support. But there’s little game support for Locke/Terra, except in the very beginning when she bats her eyes at him, but that’s it. If you want to believe that Edgar and Terra have a thing going on, that’s your business. If you want to believe that Terra and Locke like each other, again, that’s your business. I repeat, it’s really a matter of speculation and what one wants to believe.
An example of sheer speculation goes as follows. Some people have said that Setzer and Terra have it for each other. They pick out little details in the game like Setzer is holding onto Terra when the airship is breaking apart, and he is one of the ones that goes to her side when the airship catches her in the end. This is just an example, and a strange one at that.
But I don’t think that Terra was asexual, so to speak. She just needed to readjust living in the real world before she would be ready for a romantic relationship.
