Squall is at lvl 100, Zell is at 84, and Quistis is at lvl 10.

now i know that monsters get stronger and lvl up as your character does, BUT

since Quistis is at such a low level does that mean the the monsters lvl is lower or does it vary or what?

Well no they will be at lvl 100 hundred so quistis is venerable

My advice is try going some where like the island closest to heaven and hell equpi squall with catuar and kamikaze use that to weaken or kill the monster and it should be easy lvls for quistis just make sure she has a high vit stat ok.

Or else give her aura

That will not stop her dying and degenerator will provide her with little exp.

Better yet if you have any heros use them on her.

This is not necessarily true Selphie, the monster level is worked out by all of the characters levels. It’s the average of them all is the monster’s level. So you need to know the other character’s levels before you can work out a monster’s level, but I would level Quistis up slightly, that is rather a low level

No it’s not. Squall is not in every battle, therefore it cannot solely be based on Squall’s level, otherwise it would make the game far too easy

A.) You’re not a mod for this section.
B.) The thread was in the right section!

I’m afraid I can’t solve the particular argument here — I can’t find any page anywhere that says conclusively how the level is determined, so it seems like it’s just one person’s word vs. another. Of course, if you train on the Islands Closest Heaven or Hell, then the monsters there are always Level 100, unless you use Tonberry’s LVL Down on them.

rinoa and selphie are 75/76 I went to a fight near timber and the monster was level hundred. It was thrusteavis (sry spelling) so my earlier statment was true.
