Anyone else play this besides me? S’a great great game.. I play it at a pc-lan center in my town, and we even have a clan there.. The Kings of Killin. heh..

I tried CoD and I suppose it was okay. I actually finished the single player campaign, which I seldom do. However, it still falls short of my own favorite online game, thus I cannot get into it.

i tried it when it first came out but it takes up way too much memory when BF1942 is pretty much the same thing

Call of Duty is by far the best World War 2 shooter currnetly on the market. The single player campigain is really good and the multiplayer is even better.

ALSO: Battlefield isn’t much like Call of Duty at all except for the fact that they are set in the same time period. Call of Duty has close up more realistic action while BF is massive and seems far away to me. Call of Duty is a much more emmerisve game and has considerably better/smoother gameplay.

CoD is too complicated to figure out, with BF u have a gun, u kill, end of story

If you can figure out that 2+2=4, then you should be able to figure out Call of Duty.

I used to play round a mates house from time to time. K1 clan or something he was in. The game gets a bit boring after a while. Spawn-kill-die and repeat.

Depends on what game you’re playing.. see, with battlefield 1942, all you do is.. go sit at flags before others get the flags and save the flags from the flag-stealers.

on CoD, you can do deathmatch, tdm, ctf, search N destroy, and many more.. and in SD, there is no such thing as spawn camping.. because you start on opposite sides of the map and get 1 life per round. ^_^

yea buddy u better get your facts straight because in BF1942 you can do TDM, CTF, and the best of all is u can mod the maps unlike CoD.

I challenge you to name a single FPS since the days of Doom 2 that didn’t have TDM. It hardly makes a game special. Add some more modes if you’re trying to make a point. 🙁

Also, there are plenty of custom maps in CoD, just like there have been for pretty much every FPS in the last decade.

we shud all gather in my server for a friendly game sometime soon. Call of Duty is the first online game ive played professionally, by that i mean play for sponsored team, go to lans, win money etc.

although the game is now on its way out, bring on BF2!
