Aeris?

What way do you pronounce aeris?
I say it like air-is but my friend says it like aries but i think shes wrong. Is there any other way of saying it?

no, it’s aeris, not aerith. you might be talking about kingdom hearts aerith but we’re talking about ff7. anyway, i pronounce it Air-is, not the way you pronounce aeris like in the horoscope, plus, the horoscope "aeris" has a different spelling, right? i think it spelled "aeries."

But apparently the "aeris" was a bad translation from the intended original aerith. Plus, chances are she will be called Aerith in ff7 ac.

Knowing Square though, they love playing with mythological references. Eris (or Aeris, seeing as how in greek it would be pronounced just about the same), was the greek goddes of strife and chaos.

i know that, they like had that name for the goddess of chaos in sinbad cartoon movie.

just say it what every way you want until they make the movie then you can really find out

I say it like this Air-res….something like that….I put more pronounceation on the ‘re’ ….

actually both Aeris and Aerith are accurate translations of the original Japanese name, which I believe was Earith ( can anyone confirm)?

As for pronouncing them I have always called her Air-is/Air-ith and so have all my real life mates
