Wings Of Discovery Help Please!

Sorry, think i have asked this before, but i cant find the thread!
I want to get my hp over the 9999 limit but i cant afford to buy the ammount
i need from Marlboros!
I only have around 2 and a half million gil.
Any ideas please?

fight shinyru. (underwater fiend) he is an orginal monster creation. i always get wings of discovery from him

I recommend bribing either a Malboro or a Great Malboro. Offhand, I believe the bribe rate for Malboro is around 500000 to 600000 Gil and 1.2 million for a Great Malboro. If you need cash, try fighting the monster which I believe is called One Eye and selling the weapons it drops.

but that takes longer. each time you face shinyru u get a wing of discovery or if your good you can overkill him and get 2 wings of discovery. i think you need like 40 to customize break hp limit. it only took about 1 to 2 hours this way.

You can get 4 for 540,000 Gil from a Malboro, and like Agent0042 said, I’d go for the Triple AP weapons that the One-Eyes drop.

I personally don’t think BHPL is necessary, but it can be pretty useful.

like Jewels said in a different thread it depends wut kind of player you are.

You can also win the Chocobo race under Remiem Temple. Touch 3 chests and no poles. You’ll get exactly 30 (enough for BHPL), but it’s a one shot deal only. I recommend overkilling Shinryu though, it’s quicker if you’re strong enough.

Whether you want BHPL or not depends on what kind of player you are. It’s never actually needed with the right equipment and stats though.

Hell, that Shinyru isn’t easy with just normal hp.
I still have an unknown at the monster arena.
Under the places visited it says unknown under the Omega dungeon.
Anyone know which place i have missed?

It’s not a place; it’s the Species Creations. You have to capture a certain number of enemies from a specific species in order for a creation to be.. created.

after u start doing that u can fight the species and get things like strength and defense spheres so u can max out your characters stats.

Even gillionaire and pilfer gil isn’t helping too much!

I would concentrate on getting 255 Defence first. That reduces damage more damage in proportion to your HP than BHPL would.

If you want to fight Shinryu, I suggest you power up Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku, being that they are the only three you can use in that battle. Hopefully, you have obtained Tidus’s Blitz Ace OD and Wakka’s Attack Reels OD, and got the two’s celestial weapons maxed. And it’ll help if Rikku has Entrust. Then once you get in the battle, and Wakka use Attack Reels, then Tidus use Blitz Ace, then have Rikku Entrust her OD to Wakka and have him use Attack Reels again. Worked for me. Although I had max stats at the time.

You should probably focus more on maxing ur stats before moving on to breaking the HP limit.

I haven’t got Wakka’s OD reels as im shite at Blitzing! 🙁
