They’re only boring if you follow the game the same way over and over. Hell Civilization III was only fun for me when I declared war on all the other civilizations and beat them all. =) When I played normally on it, I was bored to tears.

That’s clearly because you are shit at it. If you are able to beat the other nations easily, you are not playing it right. Crank up the difficulty and prepare for a challenge. 😉 (anyways, isn’t mindlessly bashing the other civs a lot less challenging and therefore not at all fun or involving?)
