Hi,
i have recently started FF7 agan as i have bought it on pc. I am at the bit in the Mt. Nibel reactor on disc 1, and i have found some strange materia which i cant get to and havent got a clue about. Can anyone help? materia (

You have to enter the caves beyond to reach some of the materia. Cloud you tel me where that materia is located. Maybe I can help you then? ok?

Kineas are you at Mt Nibel as Avalanche, or as Clouds flashback ( with Sephiroth)?
because if its the former (as Avalance) there are 3 materias you can get, "counter attack", "elemental" and "all".
If you are in the reactor then to get the materia, "all", you have to slide down shute number 4, (make sure you release the ladder first, so that you can get back up again)

Its not the flash back, its before i fight the materia keeper (you can even see him in the screenshot)
Oh, and i dont think that materia there is "all materia" as it is black cloured =)

Are you sure it’s materia? It doesn’t really look like it is and I don’t really remeber ever finding or seeing materia there.

it is materia. I remember seeing it. The only way to get to it is by the correct pipe.

Yes, exactly. You can get it by using the pipes on top. But like Kemtach emtioned already, release the ladder first. If not, you have to go through everything first, means you have to go all around it until you get to the beginning (where the pipes are) again.
I never know what pipe it is, check all five of them and you’ll reach it for sure. 😉

what are you guys talking about thats one of Tifa’s weapons its a bag its too big to be a Materia its just one of Tifa’s weapons or soomething else I forgot

Pipe 1 leads to the Materia Keeper
Pipe 2 leads to the Powersoul a weapon for Tifa
Pipe 3 leads to the second level
Pipe 4 leads to a chest with the All materia
Pipe 5 leads to the second level
