You need a PS1 memory card. You should be able to pick one up for pretty cheap. They just go into the same slot as the PS2 memory cards.

If you want to save to a PS2 memory card with a PS1 game, you must save to a PS1 memory card first, then you load up the browser and copy from the PS1 memory card, the save file onto your PS2 memory card. However, you cannot read this data unless it is on your PS1 memory card, so really it’s just some extra storage space for those who are too tight to buy another PS1 memory card

Those of us who have had a PS2 since gen 1 usually had a PS1 first, so i’m quite sure we know how to save our games =/

Seriously, it pisses me off that there are people working at EB that don’t know what they’re talking about.

I am sure you are brilliant though Smokey…man Raidenex, you got some exaplining to do…

Nahh, that partcular guy was an idiot. All you need is a PS1 memory card. In fact, its funny you should mention this as I am on my way round FF8 again (for the billionth time), on my PS2 mind.
