Hy, i come from argentina so my english isnt very good but im tryng XD =)
My problem is what i im playing ff8pc i saw the scenes with black lines, the characters are ok and the maps what have fights too(that you only see squall)y have downloaded various patches for my video card because y heared what ff8 have a lot of problems on nvidia cards(i have a geforce 2) but when y have already installed it the game only show de first part(eidos interactive logo)and come back to the desktop.i have all recomended requirimients for the game, mi OS is win 98/se, so if someone knows a patchs fo a geforce 2 with 64mb pls put a url from i can download it.thanks for your help and sorry for my english 😛 =)

All right, but please don’t ever start thread titles in all capital letters. To answer your question, have you tried playing with the configuration settings? Go into your start menu folder for FFVIII and try messing around with FF8Config and see if it helps any.
