Her Puppet

A command, an order.
I hear her voice again,
Telling me to kill;
Telling me to destroy.

I fight for conscious thought;
Fight for control,
But as always I fail.
She has control.

My body moves by itself,
Dropping from the steps.
My sword grasped tightly,
In hands stained with blood.

It pierces the girl’s flesh,
Then quickly retreats.
As my heart plummets,
Another death on my hands.
