I’ve recently been playing secret of mana just because its been a while since i have. While playing, i thought it is quite a shame that they haven’t brought it to 3D. Although, i thought that Sieken Densetsu was a bit of a pitiful game i think they could pull off a nice 3D secret of mana. Thoughts?
This should go into general gaming or something.. definetley not general discussion.

no its a discussion on whether or not there should be a new Secret of Mana. Now please, if you are gonna post, don’t mock me

They are called guide lines, we don’t have a sub forum for games/RPGs to spur discussion there for nothing now do we? 😉

It’ll get moved I’m sure, there’s no point discussing that.
I thought they did make another secret of mana game, but it was called something else and wasn’t really officially a sequel? I’m I right, or am I thinking about another series?

Yeah they did. Itwas called Sieken Densetsu. It sucked

Well there was the sequel, Secret Of Evermore.
It had awesome 16-bit graphics but wasn’t nearly as good as Mana.

I don’t think secret of evermore was a sequel. you could possibly call it a spin-off
Purrr
01-05-2005, 05:00 AM
Well that’s the same as saying Final Fantasy VIII is a ‘spin off’ of Final Fantasy VII.

FF8 is completely different to FF7
as Secret of Evermore is completely different to Secret of Mana
By sequel i mean Secret of Mana 2. And i want it to be in 3D

Look Chewey you’re just talking absolute shit for the sake of post numbers imo.
Seiken Densetsu I have only played for a short time on emulator…and it kicked arse!
For you to sit there and pull topics and conversations from out your rectum disgusts me in the extreme.
Seiken Densetsu 3 for the SNES (http://www.mobygames.com/game/covers/gameCoverId,30337/gameId,6660/)
Seiken Densetsu 3 owns so much I’m going to get it now!

Both Seiken Densetsu and Legend of Mana were never released in Australia.

That’s odd……….considering Seiken Densetsu was released on the Super Famicom.
Maybe……just maybe…….it was released on the Super Famicom in Japan as Seiken Densetsu and then they re-released it as Legend Of Mana in the US on the PSX?
God I’m good.
Hey guys……….remember Legend Of Legaia? <3 That.

Seiken Densetsu is a series. Being a series, there are multiple Seiken Densetsu games.
And the first game in the series to be on the sfc was seiken densetsu 2. The series started on GB with the game: "Seiken Densetsu: Mana’s secret final fantasy adventure".

beat me to it 🙁
seiken densetus 3 is the best imo
but I got stuck on some ghost ship boss or something ’cause my rom didn’t work right ;(
seiken densetsu 3 looks great, but i never really got into it. maybe i’ll try it again.
secret of mana is awesome though, even if it is partially because of nostalgia.

I played that game before. I liked it.. but I couldn’t get past this first part for some reason.
