I got this song on a download a while back and it rocks! The problem is that I have no idea what the history on it is. Was this something that was released on a special edition soundtrack? Who sings it? Anyway know anything about this?

I’m not sure, but I think this song is also known under ‘Galway no Sora’.

Sky of Galway/Galway no Sora was a special song that came on the Melodies of Life single disc. It’s a completely original song that doesn’t borrow at all from the themes from FFIX and, like Melodies of Life, was performed by Emiko Shiratori. I think there was also a male voice, but I don’t know who that was.
