save game

Hi everyone. I have a request. My cpu burnt yesterday and my saved games were on it. I installed the game on my laptop, but I really have no interest in going through all of the time I had put into it. If anyone has a save in deling city before the mission to assasinate the sorceress. I’d really appreciate it.

I assume you’re playing the PC version? I’ll need your e-mail address if you want it. Anything I should know about your stats or cards? I have a PC save editor, so if you had any particular stats you wanted to keep (or change), I can get that set up for you.

Grrr. Apparently FFVIII is uninstalled on my machine currently and without it being installed, the save editor doesn’t seem to want to work right. I can reinstall it, but it’ll have to be later this evening. Sorry.

I have found a utility that changes all of the stats and items of characters and gf’s but it does not have the ablity to put you in a specific level of the game. If anyone has ay info on how to do this I would appciate it. This would save agent from having to install the game to helpme out.

Shiban — can you e-mail me the utility in question? The problem is that without installation, I can’t even tell which savefile is which. If I had this particular utility, then I should be able to at least tell. Alternatively, I could just batch e-mail you my entire set of FFVIII savefiles and then you can pick the one that’s closest to where you were, then edit it to what you need it to be.

Great, going ahead and batch-sending now. These savefiles should be from pretty much a lot of the major points in the game including something close to Deling City, but let me know if for some reason it’s not there.
