Purifying salt

When I palyed the game last time I promised myself never to do the Cactuar siedquest without encount-none again. So now I’m gonna get anc-none. And for that I need 30x Purifying salt right? But where do I get it?

umm… I dunno if there’s an easier way, but you can sometimes steal them off the zombies at Zanarkand ruines, maybe 1 purifying salt per battle, since you usually get candle of life… there’s prob an easier way tho… ya check the guides lol

Yeah I’ve checked gamefaqs before but I’ve only found out that you can steal from Abadon at Monster Arena…

Wait a minute. You get x99 if you unlock Fafnir. And I can get enc-none armor from ghosts…

I forgot the name of the boss, the huge fishlike thing in the start of the game which you barely escape, in the pathway towards Anima’s temple. You’ll have to fight it to gain entrance to the temple. On rare ocasions he drops an ecn. none weapon. I have a blitzball for Wakka with ecn. none that way. =p

Geosgaeno man i hate the armour on that boss

yeh, but if you have armour break it is’nt too bad. The problem is his attacks petrify you…….

With 30 of them you can customise "No Encounters" on your armour or you can Use (Special > Use) them in battle. It has the same effect as Dispel.

found out what i was doing wrong i was trying to customize it to a weapon

Yeah, you need to use armor, rather than a weapon

I thought the Geosgaeno was rather easy. Just get some Stone ward armor and have Rikku use Poison Fangs.
