Well, I just heard Auf der Maur’s song "Followed the Waves," and I’m pretty impressed. The music’s pretty catchy, and this lady can rock out.

I hear she’s pretty big in Europe, so I assumed that at least some of you guys have heard of her. So, any fans?

Not poppy catchy.

Shes pretty cool, her album isn’t as good as I had hoped, but it beat the living shit out of Courtney Love’s. ‘Followed the Waves’ is a cool song as is ‘Real A Lie,’ but there is some filler on the album.

I did, it’s not bad really, not my favourite, but not bad…

My mate bought her album. I found it okay, just a bit boring. It melded into the background and I didn’t really notice it. I wouldn’t buy it myself, but if somebody put it on in the car or whatever, I wouldn’t voice any complaints.

Also: was it her that used to play in The Smashing Pumpkins? Or am I just making this shit up?

Yeah she did, when D’arcy left TSP, Melissa Auf Der Maur took over but only for one album before they split-up. She was in Hole as well.

Meh. In my opinion the "pop" kind of catchy is the only kind there is. This isn’t really catchy at all. =\

You can be catchy like The Ramones or you can be catchy like the Backstreet Boys or a million other things, but I can’t think of anything that has absolutely no pop in it that I would really describe as catchy.

Besides, I don’t think I sounded like "FOOLS!" at all. =\

I’m not really a huge fan of her. I can’t pinpoint anything I don’t like about her, but her songs don’t grab me, I guess. Evidence she lacks this thing called "catchy".
