Little boys cat?

When you go to Alexandria, and you talk this little boy near the Chocobo, he’s telling you his cat is gone again.

I’ve never found his cat before, but I heard that this is actually a little sidequest you can do. I don’t know how often his cat is going to run away, but at the end he’ll give you something for it…..

Is this really another sidequest? Who knows more about it? :erm:

i’ve done it……well the very first time he loses his cat…..it’s near the harbour with the old guy with a lisp…..you get a bomb card from the kid…is that the one you where talin’ bout?

Yes, it should be the kid I was talking about. The kid is always standing close to the fishermen there (bit in the background). I think, he gave me a card before, but I forgot if that was for the cat. I remember, I once found the first cat but I never found it the other times….

Yeah and watch out, he looses the cat again, i think it’s after Bahamut’s attack…can’t remember what you get though, sry:(

I know he is loosing his cat again. And I also heard you can find it somewhere on a roof. But how do I get up there? And if you look up at them, you see a lot of cats walking around.

I have no idea how many times the cat runs away, and I have no idea where to find it exactly, neither what items you will get. 🙁

You get his cat if you walk ALL the way back too the city gates.Talk to the kid first and when you step into the screen with the statue of that lady knight, he’ll run in and thank you with a card.
You can’t find him the second time (after bahamut’s attack) because the silly cat has got itself stuck on the roof. (You can see it if you talk to the boy)

Yeah, I remember now. The first time the cat is around the statue of the lady knight. :rolleyes:

But the second time……well, it’s on the roof but I can’t remember someone telling me that. The boy keeps saying his cat disappeared again, but that’s about it. 🙁

So, that means, you can only bring the cat back once…. :erm:

Yep ‘fraid so. But oh well. We’re not the boy’s personal cat-saving-people.

Of course we are not, but as a FF freak you want to complete as many sidequests as you can. I’m trying at least. 😉

I just wanted to know a little bit more about this sidequest, because all the informations you can get are usually a little thin… 🙁
